The Story Behind “The Insurance Guy”

Our founder and President, Mr. Paul Morris, is the original “Insurance Guy.” His journey began in 1987 when he started working at his father’s insurance company, gaining experience in claims, underwriting, and marketing. Eventually, he opened an insurance agency inside the Maroone Auto Car dealerships, which flourished, writing over $10 million in auto insurance premiums in just 12 years.

Recognizing the ever-increasing cost of insurance in Florida and the growing need for affordable, quality coverage, Mr. Morris established The Insurance Guy agency in 2004. With strong relationships with top insurance carriers across the state, we’ve become Florida’s go-to insurance provider.
